Episode 075: Dinzu Artefacts Ted Butler

Broadcasting from the snow-covered brickwork of old Saint Louis to bring you a special label feature tonight. Dinzu Artefacts, sister-label to Joe McKay’s Spring Break Tapes, has been around for just a few years, but has amassed an impressive catalog of found sound, tape manipulation and field recordings from artists the world over.

We’ll be listening to a short stack of long players that have maintained a place in my rotation for some time, celebrating this, our 75th episode and first of the new year.

Here’s what we’ve got in the stack:

Take 20% off all aforementioned digital releases with promo code “GIMME20”.

Get your hands on the latest batch from Dinzu Artefacts out tomorrow, Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at: http://dinzuartefacts.com/january-batch.

Help support ad-free listening with a recurring contribution through Patreon. Patrons receive special no-talking mixes in advance of regular episodes. Plus, each month one “Unlucky Listener” chosen at random receives a stack of decommissioned tapes from the archive.

My thanks to everyone who has contributed to this platform thus far.

If you’d like to hear your music or your label’s music on future episodes, please get in touch. Appropriate submissions are welcome. I’m especially interested in proper techno, minimal synth, tape manipulation, field recordings and weird jazz. Email me at norelcomori@gmail.com for more information.

Note: Only physical copies are considered.
