Limited Interest.
I'm excited to announce our new, in-house label, Limited Interest.
Curated by Alessandro Cortini (Skarn, SONOIO, Nine Inch Nails) and myself, Ted Butler (Head Dress, Norelco Mori), Limited Interest is a Los Angeles label featuring new experimental and electronic recordings from artists both familiar and not yet known.
First up is LTD-2: Delible. This self titled cassette sees founding Jane's Addiction member, Eric Avery, explore less traditional sonic territory with modular synthesizers and some pretty gorgeous effects chains. Limited to 75 numbered copies.
LTD-3 features new solo work from Montreal's Karl Fousek, who has sold out several stellar releases on Denmark's Phinery Tapes, Canada's Adhesive Sounds, and most recently, his collaborative effort as Fousek / Hanson / Tellier-Craig for LA's Spring Break Tapes. Another edition of 75 numbered copies.
Both cassettes are hand-dubbed in realtime on chrome tape.
